Catolicas por el Derecho a Decidir.

Part of a larger, regional network, Bolivia's Catolicas por el Derecho a Decidir (Catholics for a Free Choice), founded in 1966, works nationally and internationally to promote women's sexual and reproductive rights. Special efforts are made in the areas of advocacy and lobbying with public policymakers on issues related to sexual and reproductive health and related rights, human rights, women's right to live free from all forms of violence and the reform of laws that currently criminalize abortion, as well as public pressure to ensure that access to abortion be effectively regulated and applied in the cases in which it is allowed under the law. CDD-Bolivia has also played a key role in encouraging compliance with the resolutions of the International Conference on Population and Development in Bolivia. Congratulations on 45 years of dedicated work!
