Catherine M. Dunn.


WILLISTON, Vt./WEST YARMOUTH - Catherine M. Dunn, 90, died peacefully on April 9, in the Vermont Respite House. She was born on Sept. 16, 1917 in Worcester, the daughter of John and Etta (Callahan) Navin.

She is survived by her children, Nancy DeCoste and husband, John, of Plymouth, Mass., James Dunn James Dunn or Jim Dunn or Jimmy Dunn may refer to:

; by her grandchildren, James DeCoste and wife, Susan, and Michael DeCoste, Emma and Charles Dunn, and Tracey Niquette and her husband, William. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren, Joseph and Abigail Niquette; her brother, Vincent Navin of West Boylston, Mass.; her sister-in-law, Ann Dunn Nichols and husband, Frank, of Worcester, Mass.; and by several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband James and her brother Thomas Navin.

She was married to James J. Dunn on Nov. 23, 1940 in Worcester. Kay and Jim lived for over 40 years in South Weymouth and retired to West Yarmouth in 1991. She was a member of the Irish American I´rish A`mer´i`can

 Club, Yarmouth Senior Citizens, and St. Pius Community Center. Kay moved to Vermont last summer to be closer to her son, granddaughter and great-grandchildren. She liked entertaining her family at the Converse House in Burlington, where she enjoyed making new friends.

McDonald Funeral Home, South Wyemouth, directed arrangements. The funeral from the funeral home was held Monday, April 14. A funeral Mass was celebrated in St. Francis Xavier Church St. Francis Xavier Church is located at 607 Sycamore Street, Cincinnati, Ohio. This was the location of the first diocesan cathedral and the center of early Roman Catholic life in Cincinnati. It was dedicated to St. Peter on December 17, 1826. , South Weymouth.
