Catherine "Phyllis" (Mulcahy) Parrow, 83.


WAKEFIELD, RI Catherine "Phyllis" (Mulcahy) Parrow, 83, of Wakefield, RI and formerly of Holden, MA, died Monday. She was the wife of the late Richard Parrow. Born in Worcester, she was a daughter of the late James J. and Katherine (Hickey) Mulcahy and she grew up in Shrewsbury, eventually settling in Holden.

Mrs. Parrow and her husband owned and operated a manufacturing company in Worcester for many years. She was very patriotic and loved her country, enlisting in the US Navy at the age of 19 and serving her country during WW II. Her family will remember her love of flowers and her ability to remember all of the family pets.

She is survived by a son and his wife, William and Pam Brown Pam Brown (born 1948) is an Australian poet. Early years
Brown was born in Victoria, and her childhood was spent in Toowoomba and Brisbane. She has mostly lived in Sydney since her early twenties.
