See Toronto Stock Exchange (TSE). :CAT) has expanded its land position at the Lady Property, from 56 square kilometres (13,000 acres) to 110 square kilometres (27,000 acres) to cover a gold-silver mineralized min·er·al·ize v. min·er·al·ized, min·er·al·iz·ing, min·er·al·iz·es v.tr. 1. To convert to a mineral substance; petrify. 2. To transform a metal into a mineral by oxidation. 3. area which was located just over boundary of the original property. This mineralized area, called the Sicacatare Target, consists of a quartz vein stockwork zone which forms a prominent ridge 300 metres wide and 700 metres long. Surface gold assays from this quartz vein stockwork range from 0.2 g/t gold and 0.2 g/t silver to 3 g/t gold and 5.5 g/t silver. The Sicacatare Target is located approximately 8.5 kilometres northwest along a major fault set which crosses the property from the previously announced Jimerito Target. At Jimerito, gold values up to 10 grams per tonne (0.3 ounces gold per ton) and 78 g/t silver (2.0 ounces silver per ton) were found. Geological mapping and surface sampling on the Lady Property has identified at the Jimerito Target area a minimum of 2.25 square kilometres of silica sinter sinter Mineral deposit with a porous or vesicular texture (having small cavities). Siliceous sinter is a deposit of opaline or amorphous silica that occurs as an incrustation around hot springs and geysers and sometimes forms conical mounds (geyser cones) or terraces. with anomalous gold-silver values. This rock type is associated with hotsprings type gold-silver deposits. Detailed geological mapping and 60 line kilometres of geochemical sampling is currently underway. A minimum 2000 metre (6000 feet) core drilling program has been contracted and is expected to commence September 25, 1996. The Lady Property has advanced from initial acquisition in May 1996 to the drill ready stage very quickly as a result of excellent first phase results.
