and pool tables as their popularity increased. The business has a Glendora showroom that attracts customers from a four-county area and also sells online.

"Gameroom Goodies sells furniture-quality pool tables in solid oak and solid cherry. We offer an antique antique. The term has been used collectively to designate classical Greek and Roman works of art, particularly sculptures; as an adjective to indicate an object, a period, or a style of ancient or early times; and as a noun, for objects of art, furniture, rugs,  style and a modem style that is similar to commercial pool tables.

"Pool tables come in three sizes. First, there is the standard 8-foot-by-9-foot pool table. Then, we offer tournament-size tables and smaller 7-foot tables. The 7-foot tables have become standard for most homeowners because it is challenging enough for a family table but not too large.

"Most of our customers are homeowners. We also sell to the military and condo homeowners' associations A homeowners' association (abbrev. HOA) is the legal entity created by a real estate developer for the purpose of developing, managing and selling a community of homes.  for use in their clubhouses. A lot of churches and church groups have begun to buy tables. This signals a big change in the industry because pool was considered a bar sport. Now, it's becoming a family-oriented sport that works well with children. In other games, kids get bored. You can take a bunch of people with different skills, and they can play together and have a good time at pool. A lot of parents are getting pool tables for their teenage kids to keep them at home more.

"Another popular thing that we sell are darts. Although households with smaller children stay away from darts, some people don't have room for pool tables. We offer steel tip darts and soft tip darts. Steel tips are less popular and less safe than soft tip. Our electronic boards sell for as little as $35.

"We also have foosball tables that run from $299 to $599. These tables are popular with families and kids. Our air hockey Air hockey is a game for two competing players trying to score points in the opposing player's goal. Equipment

tables run from $499 to $799.

"As with any small business, a lot of customers come from word of mouth. We also use some yellow page advertising and have a Web site that has helped bring in business from as far away as the Bay Area."
