Catch the eyes of the boss.
A new eye protection system from Hatch, designed specifically for
Swat team members, is catching the gaze of special unit professionals
everywhere. The B.O.S.S. 2000 (Ballistic Optical Safety System) is a
hybrid system of eye protection comprised of a cross between goggles and
traditional sunglasses. The B.O.S.S. system has replaceable components
that fit onto an alloy frame that is resistant to flexing and
deterioration. Adhesive on-the-fly tear-off lens covers are available in
clear, yellow and smoke-tinted, to allow the wearer to quickly remove
debris or to adjust for changing light conditions during critical
tactical manoeuvres. The sleek design allows for 100 per cent peripheral
vision, does not interfere with riflescopes or weapon sights and the
complete system, including the anti-fog polycarbonate lens, has been
tested to ANSI standard Z87.1.
