Dr. Karp stated, "We are pleased to be opening an R&D office in Melbourne. Our recruiting program is on track and the development work done so far proves that this was an excellent decision for us."

Managing Director, Bryan McGlade added, "Because of Melbourne's strong telecom software development scene, we have been able to quickly recruit a crack team of engineers. Our team members have especially strong telecom backgrounds so, not only has the learning curve been fast, but we have been able to integrate our engineering capabilities with Catapult's other R&D facilities in the U.S., Canada and Britain.
