The arrangement calls for Tsunami to purchase 3,000,000 cards over the next three years in a $25,000,000 transaction. Initial orders were received for 100,000 cards to be shipped by July 1, 1997 with an additional 500,000 cards to be shipped on or before September 1, 1997. Tsunami Communications is in the business of selling 1+ long distance services and uses the cards as a premium. This represents Catalyst's first major sale in the premium market, one of the company's major markets. As part of the transaction, Catalyst will also receive royalty payments and residuals from Tsunami's customer base.
