Catalog International Announces Next Release of Cat@log; Support For Server Side Scripting Provides Higher Levels of Customization.

Cat@log 3.0, due to ship in December, offers full integration to server side scripting, including Active Server Pages (World-Wide Web, programming) Active Server Pages - (ASP) A scripting environment for Microsoft Internet Information Server in which you can combine HTML, scripts and reusable ActiveX server components to create dynamic web pages.

Now developers can use Cat@log with industry standards such as VisualBasic and COM (1) (Computer Output Microfilm) Creating microfilm or microfiche from the computer. A COM machine receives print-image output from the computer either online or via tape or disk and creates a film image of each page.  to build highly customized sites with minimal amount of programming. Supporting ASP also allows developers to access the back-end functionality provided by products such as Microsoft's Site Server, which has become a popular server platform for commerce solutions.
