Catalina Restaurant Group Announces Merger with Zensho America Corporation.


CARLSBAD, Calif. -- Catalina Restaurant Group, parent company of Coco's Bakery Restaurant and Carrows Restaurants, today announced the company's merger with Delaware-based Zensho America Corporation (ZAC ZAC Zacatecas (Estado de México)

), a subsidiary of Tokyo-based Zensho Co., Ltd., making Catalina Restaurant Group a fully-owned subsidiary of ZAC. The value of the transaction was not disclosed.

ZAC, also led by Ogawa, was established on Oct. 18, 2004. Annual sales volume for the Zensho Group from April 2005 to March 2006 was 149.3 billion yen.
