The six year-old Barry moggy moggy term of endearment addressed to a cat. was taken to local vet Maurice Kirk with an airgun pellet in its body. But when Mr Kirk examined the animal he found that it had three other pellets lodged in its chest, stomach and back from previous shootings over the last six months. The cat's elderly owner, who does not wish to be named, lives in the Colcot area of Barry. Mr Kirk said: ``It is disgraceful dis·grace·ful adj. ``The next time it could be a child or an elderly person who is hit. ``This elderly woman is too afraid to be named because she fears that she will also be shot at. ``This is the way things are today.''
