Cat is back on tour.


THE artist formerly known as Cat Stevens Yusuf Islam[1] (born Steven Demetre Georgiou on 21 July, 1948 in London), who was known as Cat Stevens from 1966 to 1978, is an English musician, singer-songwriter, educator, philanthropist and prominent convert to Islam.  is returning to the stage after a break of 33 years.

Now named Yusuf, he will play the NIA Academy on November November: see month.  23.

The legendary singer/ songwriter is expected to offer audiences a taste of his hits, like Wild World, Father & Son and First Cut Is The Deepest, as well as newer music.

He will also showcase his new musical, Moonshadow.

"My songs always told a story, so it's natural for me to extend that into a stage musical form," Yusuf says. "It's taken a long time, but it's always been a dream to write a musical."
