, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 19, 1998--Castle Energy Corp.(a) (Nasdaq-NNM:CECX) (the "Company") announced today that its Board of Directors has declared a dividend of $.15 per share payable on July July: see month. 17, 1998, to holders of record on July 13, 1998.

The dividend declaration is pursuant to the Company's policy of paying regular quarterly dividends on its common stock. As with any company, the declaration and payment of future dividends are subject to the discretion of the Board of Directors and other factors.

The Company currently owns interests in approximately 300 oil and gas wells located primarily in the Appalachian basin and a gas sales contract Sales Contract
