, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 5, 1998--Castle Energy Corp.(a) (Nasdaq-NNM:CECX) (the "Company") announced Monday Monday: see week. that its Board of Directors has declared a dividend of $.15 per share payable on Oct. 16, 1998, to holders of record on Oct. 12, 1998.
The dividend declaration is pursuant to the Company's policy of paying regular quarterly dividends on its common stock. As with any company, the declaration and payment of future dividends are subject to the discretion of the Board of Directors and other factors.
The Company currently owns interests in approximately 300 oil and gas wells located primarily in the Appalachian basin and a gas sales contract Sales Contract
