Castle Brands Announces Nominees for Election to its Board of Directors.

NEW YORK -- Castle Brands Inc. (AMEX:ROX), an emerging international premium spirits company, filed a proxy statement on July 30 announcing that, in addition to nominating seven of the Company's eight current directors for reelection, Castle Brands has also nominated two new individuals for election to its Board of Directors at Company's annual shareholder meeting in New York on September 12, 2007.

Castle Brands announced that Gill Jefferson has been nominated for election to the Board. Mr. Jefferson has 23 years of experience in the spirits industry, primarily with the Irish Distillers Group Limited, the foremost producer of Irish spirits. Most recently, prior to his retirement last year, he managed one of Irish Distillers' major subsidiaries, The Old Bushmills Distillery, for 10 years.

Keith Bellinger, Castle Brand's current President and Chief Operating Officer, has also been nominated for election to the Board. Mr. Bellinger joined Castle Brands in May 2005, bringing 20 years of experience in the beverage alcohol industry to the Company. His most recent position before joining CBI was President of the Northern Business Unit of Allied Domecq North America, one of Allied Domecq PLC's largest business units. Prior to that, he served as Chief Financial Officer of Allied Domecq's U.S. spirits division.

Phillip Frost, M.D. was not nominated for reelection due to the extensive nature of his other commitments, which would have prevented him from attending a number of the regularly scheduled meetings of the Board of Directors. Instead, Dr. Frost will continue to lend his expertise to Castle Brands as an investor and as special advisor to the Board. "I plan to remain very involved with Castle Brands and feel that I can serve the company more effectively as an investor and special advisor than as a director" commented Dr. Frost.
