From May 16th through June 15th, interested participants can visit the State Fair MySpace page at: www.myspace.com/californiastatefair and upload their video footage for a chance to be part of the Fair's new commercial. All footage must be family-orientated and appropriate for all ages. The grand prize winner will also receive $500 in cash. The campaign, to be unveiled in July, will incorporate the song "I Won't Grow Up" and utilize fun slogans like "Fun Never Grows Old," "Memories are Best Served Deep-Fried" and "Excitement is Ageless." The campaign was designed and executed by Sacramento-based ad agency MeringCarson.
