The Cassiopeia BE-300 will provide out-of-the-box synchronization from Pumatech's Intellisync software. Time-saving benefits of synchronization include the ability to move scheduled or rescheduled events directly into the user's calendar; to identify potential schedule conflicts; and to maintain a single address book. In addition to the Intellisync Lite offering, Casio will also offer the full version of Intellisync through its sales channels for consumers who would like to upgrade the synchronization capabilities of their device. The full version of Intellisync offers support for multiple PC applications, including Microsoft Outlook, Lotus Notes Messaging and groupware software from IBM Lotus that was introduced in 1989 for OS/2 and later expanded to Windows, Mac, Unix, NetWare, AS/400 and S/390.
