The phones are the first in a family of Casio products to incorporate the revolutionary service that routes long distance calls to a wide array of low-cost carriers A low-cost carrier or low-cost airline (also known as a no-frills or discount carrier / airline) is an airline that offers generally low fares in exchange for eliminating many traditional passenger services. .

For subscribers of Call Waiting Caller ID, both models store up to 50 Caller ID records and 20 name and number autodial records, which can be viewed on a large three-line LCD -- even when the unit is wall-mounted. A handy toll call indicator identifies Caller ID numbers that may result in a toll charge if dialed out.

"The CP-1275 is a great phone for individuals, families or others who are looking to slash their phone bills and need the convenience of a cordless phone," said Dennis Cox, vice president of marketing, Casio Communications. "And for those who require higher overall performance, we've created the 2.4 GHz CP-2575, which includes all the bells and whistles A slang English term for exceptional features in some product. We're especially pleased to include the low cost routing feature in both these phones at virtually no additional retail cost to the consumer."

Both phones include a Display and Dial feature, which allows users to view any telephone number, Caller ID record or autodial record with the touch of a button. Users can also transfer Caller ID records to autodial memory or find out at a glance how many new Caller ID records have been received, simply by checking the New Call indicator on the handset and base.

The phones are also equipped with an Ultra Clear(R) noise reduction circuit to ensure superior reception and reduce background noise. The LCD can display help during any programming option, and a call timer and "last call time" display enable users to track the length of each call.

The CP-1275 carries an estimated street price of $49.95, while the CP-2575 is available for the estimated street price of $99.95. Both models are available at specialty retail, consumer electronics stores and other retail outlets retail outlet npunto de venta
