Casino models contest.


ASPIRING models have a chance to shine.

Contestants for Miss Grosvenor will model swimwear and evening-wear and answer questions to win the opportunity to represent Grosvenor Casinos at the Miss Newcastle 2009 final in May.

The winner will be chosen by a panel of judges, including Newcastle footballer Steven Taylor Steven Taylor may refer to:
  • Steve Taylor (boxer), a bare-knuckle boxer
  • Steven Taylor (footballer) the Newcastle United footballer
  • Steven Taylor (Doctor Who) one of the companions of the First Doctor from the television series Doctor Who

The competition will raise money for the Charlie Bear 30/60 Appeal, which supports cancer patients and raises money for the new Northern Centre for Cancer Care at the Freeman Hospital The Freeman Hospital is an 800-bed tertiary referral centre in Newcastle, England.

The hospital is run by the Newcastle upon Tyne NHS Trust and is a teaching hospital for the University of Newcastle upon Tyne medical school. .

Angie Taylor from the appeal said: "We are appreciative to Grosvenor for the kindness shown."
