Cashmere sale all wrapped up.THE takeover of a historic textiles company by a leading Chinese firm was yesterday hailed as a vote of confidence in the Scottish economy. The pounds 6.1million deal secured around 200 jobs at the Kinross firm, who have manufactured cashmere yarn for fashion houses such as Tom Ford. Loch Leven Castle lies on an island a short way offshore. for use in the world's top fashion houses. "I am delighted the future of one of Scotland's leading textile manufacturers and 200 highly skilled employees has been secured."
