Cash seized in home raids.


POLICE investigating criminals who live a life of luxury through ill-gotten gains have seized pounds 130,000 in suspected dirty money.

Officers have been counting coins and notes since a number of addresses in Northumberland were raided last week.

They say the cash seized, as part of Operation Cobalt, totals pounds 130,000. In addition, luxury vehicles worth pounds 170,000 are also being held by police.They include a Range Rover
