Auditors found deficits at three stations in the North Wales Police's Eastern Division during routine work last year. They recommended an investigation, but a critical report reveals this has not happened at one station. Although only pounds 79 is involved, police sources say the report will cause concern among senior officers. An insider said: ``There will be red faces over this report. The police service cannot be seen to be unable to account for any monies. The books must balance. I would expect a full investigation to be ordered into this matter.''
