Cash machine warning.


POLICE are hunting three people after a series of cash thefts in Brighouse.

And they have warned people not to be distracted when using cash machines.

Insp Mohammed Nawaz said: "When the victims have entered their PIN, one suspect has covered the keypad A small keyboard or supplementary keyboard keys; for example, the keys on a calculator or the number/cursor cluster on a computer keyboard. See programmable keypad.  while trying to explain that the machine is out of order. Another suspect acts as a lookout.

"While distracting the victim, the suspect removes cash. On one occasion, they managed to get away with pounds 200." The suspects have been seen leaving in a maroon maroon, term for a fugitive slave in the 17th and 18th cent. in the West Indies and Guiana, or for a descendant of such slaves. They were called marron by the French and cimarrón by the Spanish.  Rover 200 hatchback. All three are thought to be of Asian origin..
