CaseStream Alert! Debuts on the Web; Product Gives Attorneys and Corporate Counselors Advance Notice of Newly-Filed Law Suits.


WAYNE, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 27, 1999--

CaseStream(R) Alert!, the fourth web-based product from MarketSpan, Inc. in as many months, makes it formal debut today at www.CaseStream.com.

The new product enables attorneys to be notified of important federal civil litigation An action brought in court to enforce a particular right. The act or process of bringing a lawsuit in and of itself; a judicial contest; any dispute.

Each night CaseStream Alert! queries 87 federal district courts and retrieves dockets for new and requested cases. It stores the dockets in an on-line data warehouse and notifies the attorney via email of relevant docket activity.

CaseStream Alert! is accessible via a web browser The program that serves as your front end to the Web on the Internet. In order to view a site, you type its address (URL) into the browser's Location field; for example, www.computerlanguage.com, and the home page of that site is downloaded to you. , and attorneys with Internet access can use the product without additional software. Web access also gives users the ability to access docket information from home and travel locations.
