Case Closed. UK International's UltraCase(TM), The Toughest Case in the World, Gets a Makeover.

POWAY, Calif. -- UK International's UltraCases(TM) have been long relied upon to protect valuable equipment under the most difficult conditions. Now UK International, also known as Underwater Kinetics kinetics: see dynamics.
Kinetics (classical mechanics)

That part of classical mechanics which deals with the relation between the motions of material bodies and the forces acting upon them.
, has entirely redesigned this classic, making it a must for protecting virtually any portable equipment, test instrumentation, emergency gear, safety equipment, dive gear, photographic equipment, boating instrumentation and other travel-sensitive items.

The introduction of new cases marks a significant strategic move for the company: UK International has invested considerable resources to completely reengineer and redesign its entire case line. Its 19 new case sizes can now be purchased by the general public through any authorized dealer.

Important features of the UltraCase line include new auto-venting latches (patent pending) that automatically equalize e·qual·ize

It is very slightly soluble in water and burns in air with a characteristic blue flame, producing carbon dioxide;  and many corrosive gases.

"The UltraCase has been UK's flagship case and customer favorite since its introduction. We have improved upon this classic, making it more durable, attractive and affordable," said Walter Kaihatu, president of UK International. "Now demanding professionals can have the best protection for their gear whether it's for the dive, outdoor, marine, industrial and utility, law enforcement, military, medical or hazardous materials industries."

Made out of UKtekmat 1.0, UK's proprietary non-corroding engineering grade ABS plastic construction, along with a stainless-steel hinge pin reinforced for extra strength, the new UltraCases are virtually indestructible in·de·struc·ti·ble

and incredibly durable. With its tough exterior, a rigid wall and an O-ring sealed case, the UltraCase is impact resistant and hard to dent and scratch.

The materials used in the UltraCases mean that they perform in the most demanding conditions, from withstanding repeated drops onto concrete to performing better under cold conditions than any other material used in injection-molded cases. Since UltraCases are less likely to break or scuff in extreme temperatures, they look attractive even after years of demanding use.

In the unlikely event that an UltraCase is damaged, its UKtekmat 1.0 injection-molded ABS plastic construction can be repaired since the shell can easily be machined and attachments made through solvent welding.

Watertight in order to protect equipment from moisture and water, UltraCases will even float if dropped overboard. A customizable foam pad allows users to shape the interior of UltraCases so that equipment fits snugly snug 1
