Cascade Systems Inc Names New Chief Executive Officer and President.

ANDOVER, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 11, 1999--Cascade Systems Inc., a leader in content and workflow management solutions for publishers, has appointed Robert Angelo to the position of President and Chief Executive Officer. As of January 1st 1999, Angelo will be responsible for all facets of the company's business worldwide.

Prior to joining Cascade, Angelo was Founder, CEO and Chairman of the Board of SystemSoft Corporation, a developer of software and firmware technologies that were licensed to the leading PC and hardware manufacturers. During his 9 year tenure at SystemSoft, he led the company from inception through a successful IPO, generating 32 consecutive quarters of solid revenue growth. Previously, Angelo served as VP of Marketing, VP of Engineering and COO at Phoenix Technologies, and Director of Worldwide Marketing at Cullinet Software. His background also includes executive positions in engineering and marketing at Acorn Computer and at Honeywell Information Systems.

Malcolm McGrory, formerly President and CEO of Cascade, will assume the position of Vice-Chairman of the Board and Executive Vice President, reporting to Angelo and the Board of Directors. McGrory's primary responsibilities will be to accelerate growth in the company's existing markets, as well as to build new strategic relationships and opportunities for Cascade's future expansion.
