Cascade Financial Corporation Announces Election of New Board Chair.

) ("Cascade"), parent company of Cascade Bank, today announced that David W. Duce has been elected Chair by the Board of Directors. His term is effective at the next annual meeting to be held May 4, 2004. David Duce has served as a director since 1991, as Vice Chair from 1995 to 2002, and currently chairs the Compensation and Personnel Committee and serves as a member of the Executive Committee. He replaces Frank M. McCord who is retiring as Chair of the Board, but will continue serving on the Board.

Mr. Duce is a practicing attorney with the Everett law firm of Duce Bastian Peterson. He received his Juris Doctor The degree awarded to an individual upon the successful completion of law school.
