To foster children's rights in the new millennium, the United

The Cartoons for Children's Rights initiative has forged
partnerships with nearly 70 animation studios in 32 countries that have
developed 30-second public service announcements. The animated
television spots have aired on more than 2,000 stations globally in 160
countries to an estimated 1 billion people. "Animation is the
perfect tool for informing children about their rights, and society
