Cartoon Network Announces Start of Production on Untitled Andre Benjamin Project; New Primetime Animated Series Produced by Cartoon Network, the Tom Lynch Co. and Moxie Turtle to Debut in Fall 2006.

Cartoon Network is a cable television network created by Turner Broadcasting which primarily shows animated programming.
 announced today that production has begun on the Untitled Andre Benjamin Primetime Series. Created by Andre Benjamin (Andre 3000 of OutKast) and Tom Lynch Thomas Frank Lynch (born May 24, 1955 in Chicago, Illinois) is a former American football guard in the National Football League for the Seattle Seahawks and the Buffalo Bills. Lynch played college football at Boston College.  (Romeo!), 12 half-hour episodes and a 1-hour premiere are being produced at Cartoon Network Studios Cartoon Network Studios is an American animated cartoon production company. A subsidiary of the Turner Broadcasting System arm of the Time Warner media conglomerate, Cartoon Network Studios focuses on producing and developing animated programs for and related to the Cartoon  in Burbank, Calif.

The highly anticipated primetime half-hour series features a group of musically gifted kids and an unlikely visitor that brings sunshine to their lives.

The series is scheduled to debut in Fall 2006. The show title will be named at a later date.

The series is produced by Cartoon Network in conjunction with the Tom Lynch Co. and Andre Benjamin's production company, Moxie Turtle.

Benjamin and Lynch will serve as executive producers, and Benjamin will provide voices and musical direction for the show. The show's co-executive producer and head writer is Patric M. Verrone, a writer for Futurama, The Critic and Pinky and the Brain This article describes both the animated television series, and the characters from that series.

Pinky and the Brain (sometimes abbreviated PatB or P&tB) are cartoon characters who have starred in the American animated television series
 and a supervising producer on Futurama. Animation veteran Donovan Cook (Two Stupid Dogs, Mickey, Donald, Goofy: The Three Musketeers) joins the production as supervising producer.

Andre Benjamin is best known as one half of the Grammy-winning musical group OutKast. His acting career has led to roles in Four Brothers starring Mark Wahlberg For the actor and television game show host, see Mark L. Walberg.
