The responsibility of finding and recommending these talented young people was given to several internationally-known artists who themselves have a personal history with the Foundation Cartier. Representing a wide range of disciplines, including photography, architecture, dance, and music, many of these young artists will be exhibiting their work for the very first time. Approximately 40 artists from among the 600 portfolios that have been sent to us will be chosen. The works selected shows the vitality vi·tal·i·ty n. 1. The capacity to live, grow, or develop. 2.
