 Morgan, and she is preparing for a life as a spy by learning how to speak many languages, how to collect information from many sources, and how to kill quickly, and in many ways. She is happy in her life, surrounded by equally brilliant friends. The plot revolves around more typical situations: she meets a boy in town and falls for him; Cammie's mother is the principal of the school and she is supportive and loving. The teachers are nothing if not fascinating and different. This is escapist fiction Escapist fiction is fiction which provides a psychological escape from thoughts of everyday life by immersing the reader in exotic situations or activities.

Raudman does a voiced reading and puts an authentic teenage spin on the proceedings. The overall presentation, like the heroine Cammie, is breezy and yet sincere. Spy girls' and teachers' accents and attitudes are capably conveyed, and all the teen drama A teen drama is a television drama series that centers on teenage characters. The genre is relatively new, first appearing in the late 1980s. The shows are usually serial, starting when the characters are well into their teenage years (usually between 13 to 19 years of age) and if  and angst surrounding the world of boy vs. girl come through loud and clear in this fun, lighthearted light·heart·ed
