Cartaway Resources - Cirque Property Update.VANCOUVER, British Columbia--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 6, 1996--CARTAWAY RESOURCES (Alberta Stock Exchange Alberta Stock Exchange See Canadian Venture Exchange (CDNX). : CWA CWA Clean Water Act (33 USC) CWA Communications Workers of America CWA Concerned Women for America CWA CEN Workshop Agreement (European pre-normative document) CWA County Warning Area CWA Clean Water Action ) Cartaway Resources Corporation ("Cartaway") is pleased to announce the results from holes 4, 5 and 6 on its 100 percent owned Cirque property located in northern Labrador. The holes were drilled from the same set-up which is located 100 meters west and 50 meters south of the set-up for holes 1 to 3 and is 25 meters higher in elevation (900 meters ASI ASI, n See Anxiety Sensitivity Index. ). Hole LBN-4 was drilled east at an inclination of -60 degrees to a total depth of 344 meters and flattened flat·ten v. flat·tened, flat·ten·ing, flat·tens v.tr. 1. To make flat or flatter. 2. It encountered 16 mineralized min·er·al·ize v. min·er·al·ized, min·er·al·iz·ing, min·er·al·iz·es v.tr. 1. To convert to a mineral substance; petrify. 2. It is considerably less abundant than either basalt or granite, but the complexes in which it occurs are often immense. with layers of Leuconorite-gabbro. The mineralization intersects the core at an angle of 40 degrees and it appears that the lower zone is dipping steeply east and plunging southeast. Hole LBN-5 was drilled east at an inclination of -45 degrees to a depth of 335 meters and flattened to -29 degrees. It encountered similar stratigraphy stratigraphy, branch of geology specifically concerned with the arrangement of layered rocks (see stratification). Stratigraphy is based on the law of superposition, which states that in a normal sequence of rock layers the youngest is on top and the oldest on the to LBN-4 and there are seven zones of net textured mineralization and the lower most intersection is massive. It appears that LBN-5 did not intersect In a relational database, to match two files and produce a third file with records that are common in both. For example, intersecting an American file and a programmer file would yield American programmers. the lower zones because of its southeast plunge. Hole LBN-6 was drilled east at an angle of -75 degrees for a total depth of 524 meters to try and intersect the down dip extension of the lower zone. It steepened to 76.5 degrees at the bottom which is approximately 275 meters below the bottom of the Cirque floor. It encountered two short intervals of mineralization near the top of the hole and from there penetrated massive Anorthosite. A steep easterly dip for the lower zone is indicated by the failure of this hole to intersect lower zone mineralization. The steep snow-covered and icy slopes on the top of the Cirque limits the sites available for further drilling at this time. Hole LBN-7 will be drilled westerly Westerly, town (1990 pop. 21,605), Washington co., extreme SW R.I., between the Pawcatuck River and Block Island Sound; inc. 1669. Its textile industry dates from 1814, and granite has been quarried there since c.1850. at -50 degrees from the Cirque floor. It is located at 379 S, 703 E at an approximate elevation of 587 meters. It will test the HLEM HLEM Horizontal-Loop Electromagnetic (system) HLEM High Level Event Manager anomaly which has been traced to 600 south and has its eastern edge at 600 E. Cartaway is continuing to evaluate its property holdings in the Okak Bay area by geophysical surveying and limited prospecting. It is actively trying to acquire more properties in the area and has entered into negotiations with several other juniors.
