Larry J. Tchamkertenian, former executive vice president of operations and sales at CarsDirect.com, has joined Santa Monica-based PeopleLink Inc. (www.peoplelink.com), the leading provider of complete outsourced community solutions for the Internet.

Tchamkertenian joins PeopleLink today as vice president of operations and infrastructure, and will be responsible for leading all network and Internet operations, MIS and facilities management for the company.

As executive vice president of operations and sales at CarsDirect.com, Tchamkertenian built and managed a team of more than 300 professionals in all aspects of corporate operations including sales, production, fulfillment, telecommunications and systems. Additionally, he led the design and implementation of the company's e-Customer Relationship Management (eCRM) system, and worked closely with the CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. Typically the president of the company, the CEO reports to the Chairman of the Board.  and management team in raising more than $300 million in private financing.

Prior to CarsDirect.com, Tchamkertenian was vice president of operations at Quarterdeck Corp., where he managed more than 100 employees and led the successful integration of four major acquisitions representing $60 million in revenues. Before Quarterdeck, he was director of operations at Knowledge Adventure Inc., where he managed financial planning, budgeting, production, customer service and billing, among other responsibilities.
