Carrius Launches Its iCSP, the Next Gen Programmable Switch Platform for Today's Enhanced Services Industry.

Carrius Technologies, Inc. has announced the launch of its integrated Converged Services Platform (iCSP). This product, optimized for the enhanced services market, incorporates integrated packet and circuit switching fabrics, and enables application service developers/providers to rapidly and economically create and expand lucrative network services, including prepaid, conferencing, tandem, call center, voice mail, IVR, and many others. This system is ready now for deployment in North American and international networks.

The iCSP can handle up to 10,752 VoIP and 10,752 TDM endpoints per chassis, without any constraints or trade-offs. Multi-chassis configurations can linearly increase this capacity, without compromise. The programmable protocol bridge enables flexible provisioning of protocols on ports without replacement or rearrangement of the associated hardware. The system interfaces the network via T1, T3, E1, 10M/100M/1G Ethernet VoIP, and ANSI/ITU SS7. Network and endpoint signaling include ANSI/ITU SS7, PRI and CAS, as well as H.323 / H.225, SIP and SIP-T.
