Carrier1 Partners With Servecast.com.

Building upon its strategy to provide outsourcing and value added services, Carrier1 International S.A. (Neuer Market: CJN; NASDAQ: CONE) announced that it has signed a strategic multi-country agreement with Servecast.com, a leading European provider of streaming media services. Under terms of the agreement, Carrier1 will serve as Servecast.com's preferred communications outsourcing partner of data center facilities, IP and enhanced connectivity solutions. At the same time, Servecast.com will provide Carrier1 with its state of the art solutions, streaming media market expertise and a channel to distribute these services. In addition to the agreement, Carrier1 said that it also recently undertook to participate in Servecast.com's equity fundraising.

The commercial relationship has Carrier1 supplying co-location and Internet connectivity to support Servecast.com's streaming media solutions on a pan European basis. This partnership further enhances Carrier1's position in media delivery services, especially with regard to its activities in approaching industry verticals, such as the media industry, as previously announced in Carrier1's Wide Media Network Service launch. In addition, Carrier1 will offer Servecast.com's solutions to its existing and future customer base. Carrier1 currently connects to more than 300 IP networks in Europe, has a growing customer base of close to 150 ISPs and a significant number of peering relationships.
