Broadband digital communications connection that operates over standard copper telephone wires. It requires a DSL modem, which splits transmissions into two frequency bands: the lower frequencies for voice (ordinary

The live demonstrations, which will take place in booth no. 223 during the CLECexpo trade show in Denver, September 12-14, feature the new carrier-class Adit adit (ăd`ĭt), in mining, underground passage excavated nearly horizontally, with one end open to the earth's surface, usually used to service a mine. The joint VoDSL solution enables deployment of ATM integrated offerings to support profitable, integrated voice and data service delivery for the small-business and residential market. Using this solution, service providers will be able to offer multiple voice channels (up to 8 with the Adit 105 and up to 16 with the Adit 205) as well as high-speed data using xDSL.
