) announced that on Friday, July 31, 1998 it commenced an Initial Public Offering of 3,000,000 shares of its common stock.

All of the shares were sold by the Company. The Initial Public Offering price was $12 per share. The net proceeds to the Company from the Offering will be used for working capital and general corporate purposes, including product development and capital expenditures. The offering was managed by Credit Suisse First Boston Credit Suisse First Boston was originally the trading name of the Financière Crédit Suisse-First Boston, a London-based 50-50 investment banking joint venture formed in 1978 between the First Boston Corporation and Credit Suisse. , Hambrecht & Quist and Warburg Dillon Read Investment bank created by the 1997 merger of S.G.
