Ernie Hafersat joins the Company as vice president of Manufacturing. His experience includes more than 20 years of high-volume, fast-cycle electronics manufacturing management for disk storage and radio frequency product businesses. During the last 10 years, Hafersat has served as senior director at Maxtor Corporation, and vice president and general manager at Vari-L and Read-Rite, respectively. His experience in rapid product cycles, high-volume quality management and low-cost electronics design and sourcing are intended to accelerate Carrier Access' manufacturing cost reductions and new product introductions. Hafersat earned an IE/EE degree from Kentucky Christian University KCU is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools and is authorized to award bachelors and masters degrees. All programs requiring professional licensure (i.e. Nursing, Social Work, and Teacher Education) are professionally accredited. .

Steven Tillman has been named associate vice president, Global Sourcing. Tillman's career includes more than 20 years of engineering, manufacturing management and global sourcing experience with AT&T, Lucent Technologies and Avaya, Inc. Most recently, Tillman was director of Procurement at Avaya. His team delivered continuous yearly cost and quality goal improvements for more than $400 million of supply chain outsourced product manufacturing over a four-year period.
