DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 19, 2002

Carreker Corporation (Nasdaq:CANI) announced today that the previously announced review of the Company is ongoing and consequently the Company will delay its fiscal third quarter earnings announcement, scheduled for Dec. 23, 2002.

The Company's Board of Directors established a Special Committee of independent Board members to review issues regarding the Company's financial statements and disclosures.

"We're very disappointed to have this delay," said the Company's chairman and Chief Executive Officer, John D. (Denny) Carreker. "We had hoped we could release our earnings and discuss our results next week."
