Carpenter Appoints New Treasurer.READING, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 18, 1997--Carpenter Technology Corp. (NYSE NYSE See: New York Stock Exchange :CRS) announced Friday the appointment of Robert J. Dickson as treasurer of the company. He replaces John A. Schuler, who is retiring July 31, with 30 years of service. Dickson, age 48, was most recently senior vice president and chief financial officer of Dynamet Inc., a manufacturer of titanium bar and wire and a wholly owned subsidiary Wholly Owned Subsidiary A subsidiary whose parent company owns 100% of its common stock. Prior to joining Dynamet, Dickson spent 10 years with Price Waterhouse, rising to the position of senior audit manager. He started his business career with the Ohio Edison Co. as an internal auditor and supervisor. Dickson is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University Pennsylvania State University, main campus at University Park, State College; land-grant and state supported; coeducational; chartered 1855, opened 1859 as Farmers' High School. and a CPA (Computer Press Association, Landing, NJ) An earlier membership organization founded in 1983 that promoted excellence in computer journalism. Its annual awards honored outstanding examples in print, broadcast and electronic media. The CPA disbanded in 2000. .
