Located at an elevation of 7,350 ft (2,240 m), it is officially coterminous with the Federal District, which occupies 571 sq mi has achieved ISO (1) See ISO speed. ISO is an international system of quality management standards increasingly sought after by businesses wanting to expand their base of domestic and international customers. The registration applies to the main warehouse and corporate office of Carpenter Aceros Fortuna, in Mexico City. Aceros Fortuna, acquired by Carpenter in 1993, operates nearly a dozen metals distribution facilities throughout Mexico. Quality assessor British Standards British Standards are the national standards of the UK. The standards body which produces them is BSI British Standards, a division of BSI Group. It is incorporated under a Royal Charter and is formally designated as the National Standards Body (NSB) for the UK. Institution Inc. performed the assessment. The majority of Carpenter's manufacturing and distribution locations in the U.S. and Europe are ISO 9002 registered.
