Carotech Ltd, Edison, NJ, has achieved ISO/IEC 17025 certification through the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC). ISO/IEC 17025 is an international benchmark for certifying the competence of the testing and calibration laboratories that play a vital role in trade, in product development and manufacturing, and in protection of the consumer. The standard states that if testing and calibration laboratories comply with ISO/IEC 17025, the laboratories operate in accordance with ISO 9001. Carotech has successfully met all requirements included in this registration/certification program. ISO conducted a plant audit to verify compliance with ISO/IEC standards and will conduct periodic audits at Carotech's facility to ensure continued conformance.
