Schwartz formerly managed Investor Relations at Remedy Corporation, a client server software applications company located in Mountain View, Calif.

Schwartz has more than 10 years of experience in the professional management of Investor Relations. Prior to Remedy Corporation, she worked at Adobe Systems Adobe Systems Incorporated (pronounced a-DOE-bee IPA: /əˈdoʊbiː/) (NASDAQ: ADBE) (LSE: ABS) is an American computer software company headquartered in San Jose, California, USA. , Inc. and Lam Research Corporation.

Schwartz has a B.A. in economics from Wellesley College. She has been a member of the Board of Directors for the Silicon Valley Chapter of the National Investor Relations Institute The National Investor Relations Institute, known as "NIRI", is the professional association for investor relations professionals in the United States.

NIRI was founded in 1969 and has more than 4,500 members, both from the United States and other countries.
