Carolina Plastics teams up with Fischer Tech.

* Carolina Precision Plastics, Asheboro, NC signed an agreement with Fischer Tech of Singapore to open an injection molding facility in Suzhou, China that will also provide painting, assembly and decorating. The joint venture will begin operations in a renovated facility. CPP recently acquired cosmetics molder Augros, Inc. to expand its presence in the cosmetics and fragrance markets. To accommodate the additional business, CPP opened a second facility in Greensboro, NC dedicated to its cosmetics and fragrance segments. CPP-Fischer will pursue CPP's core markets of cosmetics, fragrance, lip balm and other consumer packaging.
