Carole Johnson Appointed Staples Senior Vice President of Advertising.


FRAMINGHAM, Mass. -- Staples, Inc. (Nasdaq: SPLS) announced today the appointment of Carole Johnson to senior vice president of advertising. Reporting to Shira Goodman, Staples executive vice president of marketing, Johnson will have responsibility for developing and producing all marketing communications Marketing communications (or marcom) are messages and related media used to communicate with a market. Those who practice advertising, branding, direct marketing, graphic design, marketing, packaging, promotion, publicity, sponsorship, public relations, sales, sales  for Staples U.S. Retail business, Staples Business Delivery, Staples Contract division and the company's Canadian delivery business.
