Carole's running for the nurses.


A DEDICATED Coleshill woman who lost her mother to cancer has signed up for the Birmingham Half Marathon to thank those who supported her family.

Carole said: "I love running, it has been a really difficult time over the past few months and running really helps to give me the kick I need sometimes.

I am doing this for the Macmillan nurses because they are there for you when you most need them."

Chris Roche, managing director of IT firm Acutec where Carole works, said it was "inspiring" to see the effort Carole puts in.
