The event is dedicated to the late George Harrison and 150 bands are set to perform live on five stages, including the Australian Beatals as well as former Beatles' drummer, Pete Best. And, of course, it's not just in their home city or even the UK that the legend lives on. Pepperland at www.pepper land.com provides plenty of information for fans across the pond, including upcoming Beatlefests in the US and a bulletin board where you can share thoughts with other fans. For fans desperate to share their memories, US website www.beatlefans.com is aimed at those who remember the Beatles heyday. The site provides a pen pal service for liked-minded Beatles fans and a 'Fan Fab Fic' section where you can submit your own Beatles novels. There's also plenty of Beatles merchandise for sale including posters, mugs, even Magical Mystery tour snowstorms. And for the more serious collector the internet is a great place to find original Beatles memorabilia. There's certainly plenty of it. You can also check out pictures of rare Beatles collectables including concert tickets, Yellow Submarine candy cigarettes and even a John Lennon whiskey decanter.
