Liberal Education Editorial Advisory Board Member Carol Halstead For the village in Kent, see . died on May 20, 2002. A leader in the field of education communications,
she served as vice president at the College Board for more than a
decade. In 1980 she founded College Connections (later Halstead
Communications), an organization for public relations public relations, activities and policies used to create public interest in a person, idea, product, institution, or business establishment.
