 Carol A. "MeMe" (Tobin) Lachance, 68, of North Brookfield died on Sunday, April 26th in Saint Vincent Hospital after an illness.

Mrs. Lachance is survived by her husband of 49 years Louis A. Lachance; two sons Daniel L. Lachance and his wife Trina of Ware and Brian J. Lachance of Springfield; a daughter Sandra A. Pratt and her husband Kevin of East Brookfield East Brookfield is the name of the following places in the United States:

  • East Brookfield (town), Massachusetts
; five sisters Gertrude Horgan of Auburn, Patricia Ferrie of Auburn, Kathleen Duncan of Tampa, FL, Pamela Dyess of Cocoa, FL and Debbie Short of Auburn; two grandchildren Zachary Wyman and Daniel Lachance and several nieces and nephews.

Carol was born in Auburn, MA daughter of Thomas and Gertrude (Howard) Tobin and graduated from Auburn High School. She also graduated from the David Hale David Hale may refer to:

 at Saint Vincent Hospital before her retirement in 1994. One of her joys in life, was traveling all over the world with her husband Louis.

The funeral will be held on Wednesday, April 29th from the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home 12 Hammond St. Worcester with a Mass at 10 AM in Saint Joseph's Church 189 Oxford St. Auburn. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery, Worcester. Calling hours are on Tuesday, April 28th from 4 to 7 PM in the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to support either Camp Joslin or the Clara Barton Camp.
