Carnival time - Jamaican style; REDDITCH.CARIBBEAN fun is to be staged in Redditch tomorrow to celebrate the town being twinned with one in Jamaica. The final preparations are being made for the carnival carnival, communal celebration, especially the religious celebration in Catholic countries that takes place just before Lent. Since early times carnivals have been accompanied by parades, masquerades, pageants, and other forms of revelry that had their origins in , which will mark Redditch forming a friendship link with St Elizabeth, a town in south Jamaica.
